I would argue it is even harder when starting a new position or a new company because you are still learning the expectations, politics, culture, etc.&nbsp;</span></div>
<div style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><br></span></div><span style="color:inherit;font-size:14px;"><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:inherit;">In the past, I've found myself caught between needing to delegate for the growth of the business, but not wanting to delegate out of fear of losing time or money or having to give someone negative feedback.&nbsp;</span></div></span><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><br></span></div><span style="color:inherit;font-size:14px;"><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:inherit;">I was recently challenged to reframe my fear mindset into a giving mindset. I'm giving someone else the opportunity to learn. I'm giving myself the opportunity to learn by teaching. I'm giving both of us the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, to become a better team, to produce better work, and to have a better connection with both.&nbsp;</span></div></span><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><br></span></div><span style="color:inherit;font-size:14px;"><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:inherit;">I realized I wouldn't have the knowledge and experience that I have if someone hadn't given me a chance and delegated to me. I wouldn't have benefited from someone else's experience, good or bad, and I wouldn't be able to do the job and be the person I am now.</span></div></span><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><br></span></div><span style="font-size:14px;"><div style="text-align:left;">When I think of it like that, how dare I not delegate? How dare I not pass on the knowledge that was so generously given to me? How dare I take away opportunities from others because of my own fears and insecurities?</div></span><div style="text-align:left;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><br></span></div><span style="font-size:14px;"><div style="text-align:left;">Do you find yourself taking on too man<span style="color:inherit;">y tasks because of fear or something else?
