  1. Commitment to Privacy

EV Law LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively "Company" "our," "we" or "us") are committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store and otherwise process information through www.evlaw.tech and its affiliated websites and other online products and services in the United States. In addition, this policy states how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We urge you to read this Privacy Statement so that you understand our commitment to you and your privacy, and how you can participate in that commitment.

  1. Compliance with Regulations

EV Law LLC regularly reviews this Privacy Policy and ensures that we process your information in a manner that is in compliance with regulations, as applicable.

Personal data is any data that may identify you personally. Personal Data may include, but is not limited to, the following: name, address, date of birth, gender and contact data (i.e. e-mail address, telephone number and employer name).

(iii) users of any mobile-device applications that it offers (such as its iOS and Android applications);

EV Law LLC collects personal data about you in connection with many of our services. When working with or using EV Law LLC, you may be prompted to make an account which may hold personal data such as your name, mailing address, email address, or credit card information. In addition you may be providing personal data when:

(i) communicating with EV Law LLC via phone calls, chats, emails, web forms, social media, and other methods of communication,

(ii) subscribing to EV Law LLC' marketing material, or

(iv) providing services to EV Law LLC.

By providing your personal data to EV Law LLC in the ways described in this privacy policy, you agree that you are authorized to provide that information and are accepting this privacy policy and any supplementary privacy statement that may be relevant to you. If you do not agree to our practices, please do not register, subscribe, create an account, or otherwise interact with our services, websites, or mobile-device applications.

  1. Methods to Collect Information

EV Law LLC collects data from you, through our interactions with you and through our products. You provide some of this data directly, and we get some of it by collecting data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our products. The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with EV Law LLC and the choices you make, including your privacy settings and the products and features you use. We may also obtain data about you from third parties.

EV Law LLC may also collect Technical Information about you when you visit our websites, which your web browser automatically sends whenever you visit a website on the Internet. "Technical Information" is information that does not, by itself, identify a specific individual but which could be used to indirectly identify you. Our servers automatically record this information, which may include your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser language and other information about your web browser, type of device (including mobile device) used to access our website, and the date and time of your request. Gathering your information helps us ensure our websites and other services work correctly and support out customer analytic efforts.

Email communication

We use pixel tags and cookies in our marketing emails so that we can track your interaction with those messages, such as when you open the email or click a URL link that's embedded within them. When recipients click on one of those URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on a company website. We use tools like pixel tags and cookies so that we can determine interest in particular topics and measure and improve the effectiveness of our communications.

Mobile communication

When you download or use our mobile-device applications, or access one of our mobile-optimized websites, we may receive information about your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may collect information about your use of the websites through cookies and similar technology. A "cookie" is a unique numeric code that we transfer to your computer so that we can keep track of your interests and/or preferences and recognize you as a return visitor to the websites. For example, we may use these technologies to collect information about the ways visitors use our websites, to support the features and functionality of our websites, and to personalize your experience when you use our websites.

Our websites includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and other widgets that run on our site. We work closely with third parties (for example, business partners, service providers, sub-contractors, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, fraud protection services) and may receive information about you from them.

Third-Party Vendors

In order to provide the services and improve EV Law LLC, we may engage the services of third-party vendors. In the process of supplying services, these third-party vendors may need to collect Personal Data about you.

Co-branding

Some company websites or services may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with another company. If you use such websites or services, both EV Law LLC and the other company may receive the Personal Data that's collected via that co-branded website or service.

Public Forums, Blogs and the Customer Reference Program

EV Law LLC may feature bulletin boards, blogs or forums. Any Personal Data that you choose to submit via such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages.

Flash LSOs

We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 and Flash to store content information and preferences. We partner with third parties to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your browsing activity. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

Log Files

Log files record website activity on our services and enable us to gather statistics about our users' browsing habits. These entries help [Company] determine (among other things) how many and how often users have accessed or used our services, which pages they've visited, and other similar data.

Clear GIFs

Clear GIFs, sometimes called "web bugs" or "web beacons," are small electronic images that are placed on a web page or in an email message. We use clear GIFs to monitor user behavior, deliver cookies, collect information, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness, and to tell if a recipient has opened and acted upon an email.

EV Law LLC collects Personal Data about you in connection with many of our services, with the goal of improving our service to you and providing you with the best possible experience. When using our webstore or website, you may be prompted to make an account which may hold personal data such as name, mailing address, email address, or credit card information. When contacting our Company, you may be required to submit contact information. When communicating with EV Law LLC, all communications will be transmitted and stored by us. To be clear, you may be providing personal data when communicating with EV Law LLC via phone calls, chats, emails, web forms, social media, and other methods of communication or subscribing to marketing materials.

Some of our mobile services use your device's location information. You can adjust the settings of your mobile device at any time to control whether your device communicates this location information. We may also offer additional controls on our use of your mobile location information.

  1. Permitted Use of Personal Data

EV Law LLC uses your personal data to provide you products and services, such as to fulfill your requests for products or to help us personalize our offerings to you. We also use your personal data to support our business functions, such as fraud prevention, marketing, and legal functions. To do this, we combine personal and non-personal data, collected online and offline, including information from third party sources.

EV Law LLC may use personal data such as name, date of birth, mailing address, or social security number to verify the identity of their customers and to prevent fraudulent activities such as the fraudulent purchase of products/services;

Credit card information may be used to check the financial qualifications or collect payment from customers regarding orders of products and services;

To protect the security and integrity of our websites, mobile services, and our business;

To comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements;

To respond to reviews, comments, or other feedback you provide us;

For industry benchmarking and analysis consistent with our legitimate business purpose.

  1. Promotional Messaging or Advertising

EV Law LLC uses your contact information to recommend products and services that might be of interest to you, to send you marketing and advertising messages such as newsletters, announcements, or special offers or to notify you about our upcoming events.

  1. Ability to Opt-In to Promotional Messaging or Advertising

EV Law LLC allows you to opt-in to receive advertisements based on your interests. If you do not opt-in, you will still receive advertisements but they will not be tailored to your interests. EV Law LLC will not rent or sell your Personal Data to others but may disclose personal data with third-party vendors and service providers that work with EV Law LLC. We will only share personal data to these vendors and service providers to help us provide a product or service to you. Examples of third parties we work with are call center operators, shippers, servicers, information processors, or financial institutions. These third parties only have access to personal data necessary for them to complete their service.

Security of all information is of the utmost importance for us. We use technical and physical safeguards to protect the security of your personal data from unauthorized disclosure. We may also retain cached or archived copies of your information for a reasonable period of time. At any point in time, you can withdraw consent and we will immediately stop processing your data.

We give you choices about the ways we collect, use, and share your personal data. You can choose what contact and financial information will be stored in your account and preferences. However, if you choose not to provide certain details, some of your experiences with us may be affected.   1. Access to and Correction of Personal Data

We provide you many opportunities to access and update your personal data. You can ensure that any account, contact, or financial information is up-to-date and can correct, update or delete inaccuracies to the information by emailing elizabeth@evlaw.tech. We will respond to your request to access within 5 days. We will attempt to answer all requests that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete it as long as we are not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. In some jurisdictions, in addition to you agreeing to this Privacy Policy, data privacy laws may require us to obtain a separate consent before we send you information that you have not specifically requested. In certain circumstances, your consent may be implied (e.g. where communications are required in order to fulfill your requests and/or where you have volunteered information for use by us). In other cases, we may seek your consent expressly in accordance with applicable laws (e.g. where the information collected is regarded to be Sensitive Personal Data under local regulations). In addition, to protect your privacy, we will require you to prove your identity before granting access to, or agreeing to update, correct or delete your Personal Data and we will only implement requests with respect to Personal Data about you (not anyone else).

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy and safety of children. Our website and services are directed towards the general audience and are not directed towards children. We do not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 13 or minors otherwise defined in local law or regulation without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that someone under 13 has provided Personal Data through one of our websites, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our databases.

  1. Changes to the Data Privacy Policy

We may review and update this Privacy Policy periodically without any prior notice. We will post a notice to its website to inform you of any changes to our Privacy Policy and indicate when it was most recently updated. In the case of material changes that may adversely affect you, we may provide a more direct way of notifying you of changes to this Privacy Policy.

  1. Applicable Regulations (California Privacy Rights)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits individual California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please write to elizabeth@evlaw.tech.

Please include your name, mailing address, and email address if you want to receive a response by email. Otherwise, we will respond by postal mail within the time required by applicable law.

If you are a California resident under age 18 and are a registered user of any of the services, then you may request that we remove any content that you created and publicly posted on our website ("User Content"). To request removal of your User Content, please send an email with a detailed description of the specific Data User Content to elizabeth@evlaw.tech. We reserve the right to request that you provide data that will enable us to confirm that the User Content that you want removed was created and posted by you.

We will make a good faith effort to delete or remove your User Content from public view as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note, however, that your request that we delete your User Content does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of your User Content. Your User Content may remain on backup media, cached or otherwise retained by us for administrative or legal purposes or your User Content may remain publicly available if you or someone else has forwarded or re-posted your User Content on another website or service prior to its deletion. We may also be required by law to not remove (or allow removal) of your User Content.
